ニュアンスは元スワイプCEOマイク・マクシャーリイの退社を認める

ニュアンスは月曜日、元スワイプCEOで同社ヴァイス・プレジデントのマイク・マクシャーリイが音声テクノロジ企業である同社を退社した事実を認めた。
「マクシャーリイが現在弊社に在籍していないことをお伝えします」と同社の応答者はリコードに対し述べた。マクシャーリイの出勤最終日は５月１６日だったという。エグゼクティヴ・ヴァイス・プレジデントであるマイク・トムソンがマクシャーリイのプロジェクトを引き継ぎ統括すると同社の応答者は述べた。
ニュアンスはスワイプを２０１１年１０月に１億ドル以上で買収した。マクシャーリイは今年、自らの部下を新たな音声広告部に移籍させた。
マクシャーリイの退社は、シアトル地域を取材するテクノロジ・ニューズ・サイトのギークワイヤが最初に報じた。

Nuance confirmed on Monday that VP and former Swype CEO Mike McSherry has left the voice technologyfirm.

“We can confirm that Mike McSherry is no longer with Nuance,” a company representative told Re/code. McSherry’s last daywas May 16,the company said. Mike Thompson,a Nuance executive VP, will continue to oversee all of McSherry’s projects, the representative said.

Nuance bought Swype for upward of $100million in October 2011.As of last year,McSherryhad shifted the bulk of hiseffortsto a new voice advertising effort.

McSherry’s departure was first reported by Seattle-area tech news site GeekWire.
