ツイッターのエンジニアリング担当シニア・ヴァイス・プレジデントが辞任

ツイッターのエンジニアリング担当シニア・ヴァイス・プレジデントであるクリストファー・フライは木曜日付で辞任する。
フライは今後も相談役に留まることが証券取引委員会への提出文書で判明した。異動の理由は不明である。
彼の前には、幹部の辞任は直近で１月、プロダクト統括のマイケル・シッピイがツイッターの株式公開後まもなく辞任した（相談役に留まると当時彼自身が明かしている）。ジェネラル・カウンシルのアレックス・マクギリヴリは２０１３年８月に辞任している。
エンジニアリング担当ヴァイス・プレジデントであるアレクサンダー・ロータがフライの後任となる。彼は広告および出版も担当する。彼の前職はグーグルのエンジニアで、アドセンス・チームの開設メンバーだった。２０１０年にツイッターに加入した。彼の基本給は年間２５万ドルへと引き上げられたが、役員報酬は変更されないと同社の文書は述べている。

Twitter's TWTR +0.68% senior vice president of engineering, Christopher Fry, is stepping down effective Thursday.

Fry will keep an advisory role at Twitter, the company said in a filing with Securities and Exchange commission. No reason was given for the move.

He is the latest executive to depart: product chief Michael Sippey left in January, shortly after Twitter’s initial public offering. (Sippey moved into an advisory role, too, he said at the time.) Twitter’s general counsel, Alex Macgillivray, left in August 2013.

Alexander Roetter, vice president of engineering whose work included advertising and publishing, is replacing Fry. Previously, he was a software engineer at Google GOOGL +0.02% and a founding member of the AdSense team, joining Twitter in 2010. His base salary was increased to $250,000 a year, but his compensation didn’t change otherwise, the company said.

Fry was one of two senior employees who filed plans to sell portions of their stake in Twitter after the IPO lockup expired.
