ツイッターはアリ・ロワーニの職務をアダム・ベインとゲーブリエル・ストリッカーに引き継ぐ

ツイッターはCEOディック・コストロの下、組織再編をさらに進め投資家からの圧力を乗り越え会社の急成長と効率化の両立を図る構えだ。
ツイッターのチーフ・オペレーティング・オフィサーを務めたアリ・ロワーニが担当してきた職務は、別の上級幹部２人に引き継がれた。この２人のツイッター上のプロファイルには変更がなされている。
アダム・ベインはツイッターの広告戦略を担当する力持ちだが、このたび同社の事業開発も統括する。ということは、彼はツイッターの社外データおよび解析企業との提携を率いるということだ。
フェースブックと異なり、ツイッターはまだ度肝を抜くような買収をまとめたことがない。
代わりに、同社はどちらかといえば小型な買収により自社プロダクトを強化するほうを選んできた。同社は今月だけで２社を買収し、どちらも小型であるが、ツイッターの広告やソーシャルTVのプロダクト・ラインアップに加えられる。
ゲーブリエル・ストリッカーはメディア・チームの指揮を執る。ストリッカーはマーケティングおよび通信担当ヴァイス・プレジデントを務めたが、今後はツイッターのメディア提携、とくにスポーツ、TV、ニューズを統括する。これらのチームは以前にも、通信グループとの協同によりツイッターのTV番組やワールドカップなどライヴ・イヴェントとの提携を実現してきた。
メディア・チームは以前、クロエ・スラドゥンに直属していた。スラドゥンは古参のツイッター幹部で、ツイッターのソーシャルTVという、成功した部類に入るイニシアティヴの顔となった。スラドゥンは彼女自身の上司と同じ日に退社を公表した。

The reorganization at Twitter continues as Chief Executive Dick Costolo tries to figure out how to make the fast-growing company more efficient amid mounting pressure from investors.
The duties of Ali Rowghani, Twitter’s recently departed chief operating officer, have been doled out to two other senior executives, who noted the changes in their new Twitter profiles.
Adam Bain, the powerful force driving Twitter’s advertising strategy, is now also in charge of business development. This means he will be overseeing Twitter’s many partnerships such as with external data and analytics companies.

Gabriel Stricker will take over the media team. Stricker, who has been the vice president of marketing and communications, will now be overseeing Twitter’s various media partnerships that include sports, TV and news. The teams had worked closely together before with the communications group pushing out Twitter’s latest integration with a TV show or live event such as the World Cup.
The media team had previously reported to Chloe Sladden, a veteran Twitter executive and the face of its social television strategy, deemed one of Twitter’s more successful initiatives. Sladden, who reported to Rowghani, announced her departure the same day as her former boss.
